New Setting in PCO Giving: Disable Credit Cards

We've been listening closely to your feedback on the initial release of PCO Giving and one of the things we found out pretty quickly is that many churches don't accept donations on credit. So, here's what we did: We added this little guy here: Which reveals this little fella here: With this box checked: * Donors can still donate via debit card when they donate online. * Donors can still donate via prepaid cards (like Visa gift cards). * Admins can still add debit cards a

Forms in PCO Registrations

PCO Registrations is already helping churches manage all the aspects of accepting online registrations and payments for their events. Now it's getting even better by starting to help you manage some of the tedious offline aspects as well! Many events require the attendees to fill out some kind of additional paperwork like liability release forms or emergency contact info sheets. Often these forms can't be handled digitally for whatever reason, and so it's up to you to keep track of who has tu

New additions join the Check-Ins Family

Today is a big day in the Check-Ins world. We’ve just released an iOS update that supports the Brother QL710W wifi label. On top of that, we’re also releasing a Check-Ins Station Android application that will support both mobile printers, Citizen and the new Brother printers. Android Application As you can expect, the Android app works almost identical to the iOS app. You can now access the device’s camera for scanning and saving barcodes, as well as adding profile pictures. Copy an Event in Registrations

Your church probably has events that happen regularly that you need to keep track of who has registered. Maybe it's your monthly membership class or your yearly summer camp. Since so much is the same from one of these events to the next, wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t have to enter the same details over and over again? We thought so too, and now you don’t have to! We've just added a brand new 'Duplicate' button to your event's settings page. When you duplicate an event you'll be able to ch

Recording Presentations in Projector

Projector, our presentation app for iPad & iPhone, was recently updated to verion 2.2 with a great new feature that lets you record your presentations along with live audio, and export it as a video file. You can easily start a recording at any point during your presentation, meaning you can record the entire service, or just start the recording at the message to create a sermon podcast. Recording a Presentation To start a recording, tap the Recordings button at the top right of your iPad

Events Page Redesign & New Updates

July 1st marked the one-year anniversary of releasing Check-Ins to the public. It’s been an amazing year that’s checked in people over 3 million times! We’re honored and excited for the love and support we’ve received over the year, and even more excited about the upcoming improvements and features coming in the next year. As we’re looking to add and improve features, we saw a great need to redesign the Events page. So, as you may have seen, we’ve done just that! There are two main reasons

Use Mailchimp to Send Emails to Lists

The feedback from our users about the Lists feature in PCO People has been overwhelmingly positive. We love seeing how Lists are already being used, but we're not even close to done. We've got tons of ideas being worked on right now which you’ll see in coming weeks and months. One feature in particular is something that we’ve always known would be great, and our churches have confirmed that by asking for it again and again. It took some time to get it just right, and now we're ready to get the f

Better Sharing and Filtering in Lists

We’ve added some great new features to how you create and share your lists! Excluded Conditions First, we’ve added a way to exclude people who match certain criteria from your lists. Now each condition has a badge that indicates if the people matching that condition will be included or excluded in the rule’s results. Clicking on the badge will toggle between include and exclude. You can use this feature to find everyone who has a certain team assignment in Services but didn’t attend the t

One of the most requested features for PCO Registrations has been international support. Our users in Australia, Canada and Europe wanted a better way to manage the registrations for their events, and now they finally have it! As of today we've added support for Australian Dollars, New Zealand Dollars, Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, and Euros. When you create a new event you will have the option to choose what currency you want to collect payments in. So you can collect Euros for your Gyro

Team Leaders

We're excited to announce our newest feature, Team Leaders! There are quite a few benefits, but one of the main reasons we did this was to fulfill a longstanding feature request. Many people have wanted a way for multiple people to be notified when each person accepts or declines a scheduling request, and Team Leaders makes that possible. Adding Team Leaders When editing your Teams, you'll find a new Team Leaders tab. If your Team previously had a person set as the "Default Replies To

Stripe Deposit Summaries

When I was developing registration and giving software at my church, I worked closely with the accounting department to ensure the accounting process was as smooth as possible. A major problem we faced was determining how to assign money from a credit card deposit to a fund or event. Now we’ve got a great new solution to this problem. With our new Stripe Reports feature you will be able to see every deposit to your account and where the money for each deposit should be designated. Now your ac

New Audio Player for Android & iOS

One of the most popular uses for our mobile app for Services is rehearsing music, specifically listening to songs. We're always looking for ways to improve the experience, and since we use these apps ourselves for our own churches, we know the joys and frustrations first hand. As a result, we've updated Services for Android & iOS with a completely new media player that has lots of features designed specifically to help church musicians learn their music most effectively. A New API and Better CSV Imports

As churches are using PCO People to store more and more important information about the their congregations, we want to make it even easier to get that data in and out. We’ve released two new ways for you to do this by improving our CSV imports and creating an all-new API for developers. Improved CSV Imports CSV is a standard file type that is used for importing and exporting data from different applications. CSV files are ubiquitous and supported by most database systems out there. Lock a Station

We’re excited to announce a new feature that may change the way you set up your Stations. Starting today you can now lock your stations to an event, folder, or location. This will be useful in situations where you have multiple campuses. For example, you might have a North and South campus and you don’t want your North locations showing up on your South Stations. In the same way, you can lock a Station to a specific group of classrooms or one Station for a specific location. When you’re addi

Scholarships in PCO Registrations

We've added a great new feature to PCO Registrations that will make your events more affordable for everyone. Keeping track of money that is given to your event through a donation or contributed through fundraisers can be difficult without the right tools, especially if that money gets split amongst lots of different attendees. But now you can use PCO Registrations to solve all of those problems in a new feature called Scholarships. Scholarships are a lump sum of money that can be divvied

Partial Payments Make Happy Campers

We've got a major update to PCO Registrations that's just in time for your summer events. With these new features your attendees can make a deposit on an event and make additional payments later. Let me show you how it works! First, we'll enable partial payments for a type of attendee. We're going to set the minimum deposit for our campers to $100.
