Can I import donor history from another system?
There are a few ways to input donor history into Giving: Manually enter donations from other systems, build an integration to import donations using our API, or check to see if your current donation management provider already has an integration with Giving. You can also import your donor’s contact information into our member database, Planning Center People.
How do I switch my recurring donors to Planning Center?
You cannot directly transfer recurring donations over to Giving, but we make it as easy as possible for recurring donors to set up a new recurring donation!
I’m stuck in a contract. What do I do?
You can start using Giving for free! Apply here to get up to 12 months of your Giving subscription free while you’re still under contract.
Does Giving integrate with QuickBooks?
We don’t have a Quickbooks integration, but we do offer CSV exports that can be imported into most accounting software.

Is there a “cover the fee” option”?
Yes! Donor-covered fees is an optional feature that you can enable for your donors. Donors are always presented with the option to cover the processing fees for their gift.
Can we integrate Venmo or Paypal with Giving?
No, but you can still track the donations by entering them manually like you would cash or check!
Can guests give without logging in?
Yes! Guests can give quickly and easily without having to log in—from the app, on mobile in the browser, or from an embedded form on your website.
Can we use our existing Stripe account?
There isn't a way to connect an existing Stripe account to Planning Center Giving. During initial setup and onboarding, a new Stripe account is created for your organization automatically. This is a one-time step that ensures your account is fully integrated with Planning Center from the start. It only takes a few minutes!
What kind of reports can I create?
Admins can run reports based on overall giving, specific donors, donation type, pull recurring donation projections, and more. Everything can also be exported into a CSV for deeper analysis.
