A Single API for All of Planning Center

There’s a single API for all of Planning Center. Our API currently interfaces with Check-Ins, Giving, Groups, People, Calendar and Services, with plans to add additional endpoints in the near future. It conforms to the JSON API 1.0 specification, so you need to know how to interpret, traverse, store, and manage that data type.

Customer Integrations

Whether your church needs custom reports, a church directory, or something else altogether, you can use our API to explore and manage your church’s data. To get started, all you need is a login to an active Planning Center organization and a Developer Access Token.

Third-Party Integrations

From media presentation tools to text messaging platforms and everything in between, dozens of product teams have built integrations with Planning Center using our API. If you’ve already created an integration, we would love to hear about it and consider including it in our integrations directory.

Subscribe for updates

Our API is updated regularly. If we implement a potentially breaking change, we’ll notify third-party developers via our mailing list. You’re automatically subscribed to this list when you create an application, but you can also sign up below.

Connect on Slack

Planning Center has a thriving customer community on Slack. The #api channel is where you’ll want to ask questions and get help with the API. This is a customer channel, but Planning Center developers will occasionally chime in with an answer or comment.
