Music Stand equips worship teams to play their best. With hands-free page turns, band sync, and built-in rehearsal tools, it’s the app your team relies on every rehearsal and every service. v5 brings a redesigned interface, Apple’s new Liquid Glass design, and updates that make the whole experience sharper and faster.

Liquid Glass and a modern interface

Music Stand now reflects Apple’s Liquid Glass design language and supports the new iPhone Duo. The Songs list, arrangement and key screens, Settings, and PDF options all have a cleaner, modern design. Navigation is reorganized too: Plans, Songs, and Sessions now live in dedicated tabs you can swipe between, and the sidebar auto-hides when you select a song in a plan so you can focus on the chart. Settings rows also grow to fit larger text sizes, so nothing gets cut off.

Inverted PDFs in dark mode

Dark Inverted is a new appearance option that flips your PDFs for dark mode reading. White goes black, black goes white, and your colored annotations stay sharp. In the PDF viewer, tap and hold the screen to switch appearances on the fly.

A new media player

Switch between List, Song, Lyrics, Docs, and Notes without leaving the player. The mini player now extends to full width with a scrubber, and you can swipe up on it to open the full player.

Better on your phone

The mini media player now supports a swipe-up gesture to open the full player.

The PDF viewer can be dismissed with a swipe down. The service type and plan date now live in a dedicated header so they’re easier to read. And when you add a song to a plan, the order scrolls to show it right away.

Faster and Smoother

Charts open faster and the whole app feels snappier. Less waiting, more playing. We also moved the option to hide the face icon under Facial Gesture Detection, where you’d look for it, and fixed a bunch of bugs, including one where PencilKit annotation tools didn’t always show up.

Why this matters

Music Stand goes everywhere your worship team goes: on stage every week, at home while they practice, and on the go while they prep. These updates make it faster, more reliable, easier to navigate in the moment, and easier on the eyes in a dark room. A better experience puts more tools in your team’s hands, and we have plenty more planned.

Try it out

Music Stand 5.0.0 is out now on iOS. We’re doing a phased rollout over the next two weeks, so if you haven’t gotten it yet, you can grab it manually from the App Store anytime.
