When you add someone to a workflow, their card has always gone to the step's default assignee. Now you can choose who gets it from the start, whether that's through an automation, a bulk action, or a form.
Assign to a specific person
Every "Add to workflow" operation—automations and bulk actions—now includes an "Assign to" option. There's also a "Pin assignment" checkbox, same as on a workflow card, so the person you pick won't get reshuffled by a later step's default assignee.

Route form answers to the right people
Form workflow fields already add people to workflows based on what they select. Now each option can carry its own assignee too, so an "interested in baptism" response can land with the the baptism coordinator while "want to serve" goes to your volunteer coordinator. In cases where your workflows are identical other than the default assignee, this could eliminate the need for separate workflows for each coordinator. Configure these assignments by clicking on “More settings”:
