Groups resources are now available in Home dashboard widgets giving admins and leaders using Planning Center faster access to the files and links they need to run their ministry.

Churches often use Groups for internal coordination like pastoral staff, elder boards, and other ministry leadership. The new resources widget brings files and links into Home dashboards, making Groups a more useful workspace for collaboration—not just a list of people.

How it works

Add the new resources widget to a Home dashboard, then choose what it should display.

Some things you can do:

  • Resources from one group: Give an elder board quick access to its meeting notes, governance documents, and policies.

  • Resources from multiple groups: Bring commonly used files from staff, leadership, and ministry teams into one dashboard.

  • Leader resources only: Keep training guides, care procedures, and other leader-specific links easy to find.

Your Home dashboards—and the new resources widget—are also available in the Planning Center app. Staff and leaders can quickly open the files and links they need from their phone, whether they’re in a meeting, moving between campuses, or coordinating care away from the office.

A staff dashboard can now keep the church handbook and recurring meeting agenda within reach. An elder board dashboard can surface governance documents and meeting notes.

This is another step toward making Groups the clear home for internal groups that need shared context, resources, meetings, tasks, and communication.
