Your church logo appears across both Planning Center and Church Center—in church search in the app, in the navigation bar on the web, in the sidebar in Services, on your dashboard in Publishing. But if your logo was designed for a light background, it might not look great in dark mode. A logo with a white background can feel jarring, and a transparent logo with dark text can practically disappear.
Now you can upload a separate dark mode version of your church logo so it looks great no matter how your congregation views it!
You'll find the new dark mode logo option in your account settings. Head to the Organization tab and you’ll see two slots: one for your standard logo and one for dark mode.

Upload a version of your logo that's optimized for dark backgrounds — typically a light-colored or white variation. If you don't upload a dark mode logo, your standard logo will be used as-is on dark backgrounds.
You can also edit your church logo directly in Publishing. On the Customize > Theme settings page, you'll see both logo slots right alongside your other theme settings — no need to jump over to account settings and lose your place.

We hope this makes it easier to keep your church's branding polished across every screen — light mode and dark mode alike.
