You can now choose which fund is pre-selected on your donation form, without waiting on us to make the change.

Head to your Funds in Giving and choose the fund you’d like to set as the default. We’ll ask you to confirm, then it takes effect right away. Only funds that are visible to donors can be set as the default, so you won’t accidentally point givers to a fund they can’t see or select.

This is handy for things you’ve told us come up often:

  • A capital campaign or building fund wraps up, and you want everyday gifts to roll back to your general fund.

  • A new initiative launches — a pledge campaign, a missions push, a relief fund — and you want it to be what givers see first.

  • Your church moves out of “launch” mode and you’re ready for Tithes & Offerings to take over as the default instead of a plant fund.

Worth knowing:

  • Changing your default fund only affects new gifts going forward.

  • Text2Give donations route to your default fund, unless a donor specifies a different fund.
