If you’ve ever exported the By donor report and then had to manually combine rows for joint donors, you can skip that step now. Combine joint donors right on the report, and each joint donor relationship appears as one row with a single total for donation count and amount given. That means you can spot your top donors accurately for stewardship, thank-yous, and pastoral review, without leaving Giving.

Check the new “Combine joint donors” box and the two profiles appear on one row. The row shows the name, phone number and email of the donor listed first in the joint donor relationship, the same order Giving uses on statements and tax receipts. That’s the donor whose profile was open when the two were joined. The other donor appears in the “Gives jointly with” column, and the row’s first-donated date is the earlier of the two.

The box is checked by default, and your CSV export follows your selection. If you’d rather see each person on their own row, just uncheck the box.
