We’ve made notifications and badges in Church Center more consistent for iOS users. Now, when you turn off notifications for something, you’ll stop getting both the push alerts and a badge count for that item. Badge counts will also stay more accurate and up-to-date without needing to open the app.
We added clearer wording in notification settings and made inbox badges more consistent across chat and non-chat updates, so it’s easier to understand what needs your attention at a glance.
We hope this makes notifications feel simpler and more predictable.
