We’ve made sharing your events outside of Planning Center much easier. Now, when you’re setting up an iCal feed or kiosk, you can adjust the most important filters from inside the setup modal instead of having to set everything up on the events index first.

Open a sharing modal from the events index and any filters you've already applied carry over automatically. From there, you can tweak tags, feeds, rooms and resources, or Church Center visibility right in the modal. Filters that aren't available inside the modal can still be set from the events index before opening it.

Why this matters

- Create lobby kiosks or event feeds without the guesswork. Pull up the sharing modal, narrow it down to your sanctuary or youth wing in a few clicks, add a tag filter, and then click continue. It’s that easy.

- Less back-and-forth for new admins. The "filter first, share second" workflow has tripped up a lot of folks. The new flow is closer to how most people expect filtering to work.

The same filter options still exist on events index for anyone who prefers that flow — this just gives you a faster path when you're heading to a sharing modal anyway.
