Rejected event requests are no longer automatically deleted. They’re now preserved in Calendar so admins have a historical record of what was requested and why it didn’t move forward.

Calendar event for a studio recording session at Centerville Church on August 25, 2026, marked as rejected with details on schedule and resources.

What Changed

  • New “Rejected” status: A request is marked Rejected if at least one approval group rejects it.

  • Clear visual indicators: You’ll see a Rejected badge on the event page and in the event popover. Rejected events are highlighted red on the events index.

  • View-only state: Rejected events can’t be edited. If you don’t need the rejected event record, you can delete it. If you’ve changed your mind and would like to hold that event, you can duplicate it.

    • All room and resource requests are treated as rejected and can’t be changed.

    • Rejected events can’t be published to Church Center and won’t appear in kiosks or iCal feeds.
