Now that <a href="https://pcohome.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/19130753943195-Create-and-manage-dashboards#create-shareable-dashboards-1" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">shared dashboards</a> are here, teams are using Home to collaborate more than ever before! We want to keep this train rolling by introducing a new widget for shared dashboards that lets your team have more insight into workflows. To get started all you've got to do is jump into a dashboard and select People's workflow overview widget. From here, you can choose specific workflows or any combination of campuses and categories to narrow it down to the pertinent workflows.<figure style="width: 71.46%;" class="wysiwyg-image wysiwyg-image-resized"><img style="aspect-ratio: 1702/1648;" src="https://pcohome.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/38388087363355" width="1702" height="1648"></figure>This widget allows you to share vital information about workflows on a shared dashboard with folks who may not have access to People or to specific workflows. New: Workflow overview widget

Previously, the "Pending Approvals" widget was only accessible on your private "My Dashboard" but we've made some upgrades so it's also useful on <a href="https://pcohome.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/19130753943195-Create-and-manage-dashboards#create-shareable-dashboards-1" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">shared dashboards</a>. To get started all you've got to do is hop into a dashboard, select Calendar's pending approvals widget, and choose the approval groups you'd like monitor.<figure style="width: 70.52%;" class="wysiwyg-image wysiwyg-image-resized"><img style="aspect-ratio: 1702/1422;" src="https://pcohome.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/38387359866139" width="1702" height="1422"></figure>Before this widget there was no way to see what was on an approval group's plate without being added to that group. Update: View pending Calendar approvals on shared dashboards

You can now edit individual instances of recurring Groups feed events directly from Calendar—no more hopping over to Groups just to break up the event series! This update brings Groups feed events in line with native Calendar events, making it easy to adjust a single occurrence without disrupting the whole series. Now, when you open a Groups feed event in Calendar, you’ll notice additional edit options if the event is recurring. So, if you need to book a different room for one date of your recurring event, just click edit -&gt; this date (just like you would for a normal Calendar event). When you change conditions or rules on a list, People automatically pauses any active automations for that list to prevent them from running on incorrect results. Many of you are in a significant number of conversations, which sometimes makes it difficult to find exactly what you’re looking for. Improved: Edit multiple dates for Registrations feed events

When editing a home phone or address for a profile, we dynamically show an "Update home X for all household members" checkbox. While convenient, we heard from many of you that this opt-out behavior sometimes caused accidental changes across households—especially when someone forgot to uncheck the box.We've changed this setting to be opt-in to give you more control and reduce unintended updates. You'll still see the option to update all household members, but now the checkbox will be unchecked by default. Searching for a donor is something you do all the time, but it used to mean heading to the People tab first. That extra step might feel minor, but it adds up. Now, with universal search, you can find donors no matter where you are in Giving!This search experience is already a favorite in other Planning Center products, and we’re excited to bring it to Giving.You’ll see a search icon in the upper right corner. If you've embedded video across custom pages, livestream sermons, and on-demand sermons, you've probably noticed that each one needed a specific format of link or embed code. It was hard to keep track of what went where — or maybe you didn't try to keep track and just pasted in different formats until you found one that worked. 🙈Now you can paste any supported video URL or embed code into any video field, and we’ll automatically handle the rest. Tags help organize your groups and make them easier to find. Have a lot of groups and tags to manage? No problem—bulk tag editing is here to save you time!<h3 id="h_01JWS2FYWT7TW1WZQM6FSFE0MF">How does it work?</h3>You can now display all the tags for your groups by clicking on the column display and toggling on the Tags column. New: Bulk tag editing

Home dashboards just got a major upgrade with the addition of two new widgets that are powered by Planning Center <a href="https://www.planningcenter.com/people" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">People</a>! These widgets are focused on giving you insight into engagement over time as well as an overview of the different kinds of people in your congregation.<h2 id="h_01JWRX1PQQQ4HKF0N0402NN8XW">List Results</h2>If you use Planning Center People you’ll know that the <a href="https://pcopeople.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204462530-Lists-overview" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lists</a> feature is an incredibly powerful tool that lets you perform all kinds of actions on people’s profiles and also generate reports that show how your congregation is engaging with your church. <li>Update all of your groups to be assigned to this new campus field, using bulk edit.</li>
<li>Once the church center changes are released on June 17th, you can turn off your old campus tag in the tags section by turning off the Display on Church Center setting, and then Deleting the tag group once you are ready, this way congregants only see 1 Campus filter option. </li>

 This new campus field is always displayed on Church Center, so you’ll want to make sure to assign as many groups as you can to a campus, ideally all of them.

In your weekly bulletin, email, or social post — or from your <a href="https://pcopublishing.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260803542170-Create-your-home-page">custom Church Center homepage</a> — you might link to your most recent sermon episode to give your congregation quick access to that week's content. Instead of grabbing a new link every week, now you can use the latest episode link in your pages, posts, and emails!In your channel settings, you'll see the latest episode URL. New: Always-updated link to the latest episode in a sermon channel

Today, we’re introducing a highly requested feature: the ability to send emails in People with custom senders. With this change, admins can now choose a custom name and reply-to email address to send on behalf of individuals (like a pastor) or to represent a ministry (like Youth Ministry).<h2 id="h_01JW9HANXR8YMBDHPPZ1X3YMTH">How it works</h2>This new option is under the gear icon in People &gt; “Email settings”:<img src="https://pcopeople.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/37680957715867" width="2048" height="1221"><ul>

Add a sender: Provide a name and email. We’ll send a verification email to ensure the address is valid and has consent. All emails will come from <a href="mailto:mailer@churchcenteronline.com"><code>mailer@churchcenteronline.com</code></a>; these settings affect the name display and the reply-to address.</li>
<li>Manage access: Choose which admins can use each sender. Managers have access to all custom senders.</li>

<li>Use custom senders: Verified senders are available when emailing from lists, profiles, and bulk operations.</li>

New: Custom email senders

Since releasing the ability for organization administrators to <a href="https://pcopeople.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/17627685109019-New-Rescue-Abandoned-Lists">rescue abandoned lists</a>, we’ve heard from many of you that deleting unassigned lists was a real pain—you needed to add yourself as a list manager and then delete them, list by list. Whether you had 10 or 1000 lists (true story, for at least one of you!), this was an unnecessarily tedious task.
Now, you can delete all unassigned lists or add yourself as manager to make changes with a click of a button:

Improved: Bulk delete unassigned lists

Sometimes things get deleted by accident. We’ve all been there. That’s why we’re introducing a couple of updates to help you manage your files and Services structure with a little more confidence.
<h2 id="h_01JVN1JVQS489RC331B9V9C1R0">What’s new</h2>
We’ve added two new recovery tools to help you avoid accidental deletions and better manage your account:
<ul>
<li>A Recently Deleted modal to restore files up to 30 days after deletion</li>
<li>An extended 30-day recovery window for deleted Teams and Service Types 
</li>
</ul>

<h2 id="h_01JVN1JVQSGJ15Z0NXJAXK3DQ5">View &amp; restore deleted files</h2>
When you delete a file (like a song chart, curriculum file, patch sheet, ect..), it will now go to a new Recently Deleted section rather than being permanently removed right away.
From the Recently Deleted modal, you can:

<li>See who deleted the file 
</li>
<li>See when it was deleted 
</li>
<li>Restore it within 30 days</li>
</ul>
Need to undo a deletion? Just click Restore, and the file will be returned to its original location. You can also sort by “Deleted By” or “Date Deleted” to quickly review what’s been removed and by whom.

Deleted files remain in the Recently Deleted modal for 30 days before being permanently removed. This gives your team more time to catch mistakes and keep your file storage safe.
<h2 id="h_01JVN1JVQSFJNZG8TF1RMYBFMP">30-day recovery for teams and service types</h2>
Previously, deleted Teams and Service Types could only be recovered for 7 days. That window is now extended to 30 days, just like with files.
This update gives you more flexibility when cleaning up your account or reorganizing your service structure.

We know how easy it is to accidentally delete the wrong thing—or realize a little too late that something important is missing. These changes are part of a broader effort to make file and account management safer, easier, and more forgiving.
