Today we've got a couple more quick updates for Workflows to make them even more flexible and to help keep card history more accurate by allowing you to skip steps or send cards back to a previous step.

There are lots of reasons you might want to skip a step in a workflow. You don't want to invite people to check out your children's ministries if they don't have any children, and you shouldn't send your welcome basket full of homemade cookies to a gluten-sensitive guest (send them this way instead*). Now you can use the new "skip a step" button to move a workflow card to the next step, and the card's history will show that that step was skipped. Nice and tidy!

The opposite of skipping a step is to go backwards in your workflow. Have you ever accidentally clicked the “Complete Step” button twice? Or had someone tell you that a step had been completed, but then you found out it wasn't? We've got a new handy option to send the card back to the previous step, which will of course show up in the card's history.

It's been really fun to see how workflows are impacting the ministries of our users, and we consider it a real privilege to get to serve you and the church with this free tool. Thanks for letting us be a part of your story!

Until next time, Team PCO People
