About OnArk
OnArk is an online class-building platform for churches. It is an easy-to-use system for churches to translate their classes into a digital version people can access anywhere, at any time.
Use OnArk to create self-paced online classes, supplement existing classes with automated forms, create a hybrid class of online and in-person content, and so much more. OnArk also has automations to run classes and manage attendees without missing a beat! Or, start using any of the built-in assessment tests that come with OnArk, such as the Spiritual Gifts assessment or Christian Enneagram test!
How it works with Planning Center
OnArk works on a check-in-based system, which means that rather than having class attendees create and manage a login account to access classes, they simply need to provide their email.
So once an account is connected to Planning Center People, OnArk will check to see if the class attendee exists inside the database. If not, OnArk will create the user with their First Name, Last Name, and Phone Number. If their email already exists, OnArk will begin saving data to that user in Planning Center People. OnArk will then remember this class attendee anytime they take another class.
OnArk can also automatically save data collected in OnArk to Planning Center People profiles, or add class attendees to a People Workflow.
Save Data to Profile Field: This automation can save any input in a class to a class attendees profile inside of Planning Center People. Saved data can be based on conditions or choices the class attendee makes inside of a class.
Save Attendees to Workflows: This automation can add any class attendee to a People Workflow and can be based on conditions or choices the class attendee makes.
