Time assignments just got more flexible! You can now assign specific positions within a team to a time—no more all-or-nothing assignments. Manage everything right from the Times modal, giving you greater control and precision in scheduling your volunteers.

Example Use-Case:
You’re planning a mid-week rehearsal but only need your sound engineer to show up early, not the entire tech team. With position-specific time assignments, you can now assign just the "sound" position to the soundcheck time without notifying the rest of the tech team. This keeps your volunteers' schedules focused and avoids confusion.

How it works

Assigned position indicators: 

When a team is assigned to a time, we will now display an indicator of the number of positions within the team that are assigned to the time.

Bulk assign or bulk remove positions in the times modal:

To quickly adjust for specific positions, you can un-assign all current ones and select only those relevant to the time.

Position specific search:

If you know the position you want to assign to a specific time, you can use quick search to assign it directly, leaving the other positions within the team unassigned.

 


Position time assignments on mobile:

In the times tab of a plan, you can choose the time you want to manage and configure the default positions for that specific time.
